The main stage area (‘Theater’) is wheelchair-accessible, and there is a bar on this level. However, the main bar and the vendor/merch area is up one flight of stairs and is not wheelchair-accessible.

A small tote bag or backpack is fine, however keep in mind that you will need to keep this with you as there are no lockers at the venue.

How much do tickets cost?
The Regular Ticket is €79,90 and the ‘Echoes Extras’ Ticket is €98,40.
Note this is a non-profit event and ticket proceeds after production costs support the artists. Tax and service fees are included in ticket price and tickets are non-refundable (except for of full event cancellation).
What is the difference between the two ticket options?
The ‘Regular Ticket’ includes a wristband for entrance to both Friday and Saturday concerts.
The ‘Echoes Extras Ticket’ ticket also includes a wristband for entrance to both Friday and Saturday concerts, as well as the following for each ticket purchased at this price point:
- A limited festival t-shirt
- A limited festival poster
- A chance to win a portable cassette deck (plus waist clip, headphones and blank cassette) from We Are Rewind (https://www.wearerewind.com)
- An exclusive cassette, featuring rare and unreleased material from many of the artists playing — available only as part of this ticket and will not be resold
Will there be an option to buy a ticket for only Friday or Saturday?
This is not available as a pre-sale option. However, depending on the how many pre-sale tickets are sold, there may be some tickets available at the door on each day. The number of these tickets will not be known until the day before the event, so there are no guarantees. (If the pre-sale is sold out, there will not be any tickets sold at the door on either day.)
I’ve bought my ticket somewhere else, can you check if my ticket is genuine?
No, we can’t do this. Buying a ticket from any source is at your own risk!
Driving
You can drive to the venue, and parking is available nearby (see below). The NDSM Café & Theater is located in Amsterdam Noord, which is outside the center ring and easy to navigate by car. But, if you intend to drive within the center ring (within the Ring A10) of Amsterdam, just be advised that streets are narrow, there are a lot of bicyclists zooming around, and parking is difficult to find and quite expensive (much more than outside the ring, near the venue).
Also note that only diesel cars with an emissions standard Euro 5 or higher may enter the Amsterdam’s center ring, which is a low emission zone. Otherwise, there are no daily exemptions for cars.
Parking
Parking near the NDSM Café & Theater, such as street parking on NDSM-Plein and the nearby NDSM-Werf parking area, is €1,60 per hour up until 7:00pm. (We recommend the ‘EasyPark x Parkmobile’ app to easily pay for this parking.)
This parking is not under video surveillance, so it is advisable to not leave any personal items visible in your vehicle.
Also note that this rate is specific to this area of Amsterdam, and is not the same within the ‘center ring’ of the city. Therefore, if you are not staying in Amsterdam Noord but instead in the city center, we advise you come to Amsterdam via public transportation as parking can be very difficult to find, and quite expensive.
The area has electric vehicle charging points, so if you drive an EV, check for availability near the NDSM Café & Theater.
There are car parks nearby the venue open 24/7:
Parkeerplaats NDSM (about 5 min. walk to venue)
Ms. Oslofjordweg 9, 1033 SL Amsterdam
https://www.parkeren-amsterdam.com/ndsm-werf

ParkBee Mt. Lincolnweg
Tt. Vasumweg 63, 1033 SN Amsterdam
ParkBee The Curve

Tips on getting around
Bike Rental:
You can do as the locals do and rent a bicycle, which you can take on the free ferry to NDSM as well! There are loads of places to rent bike in Amsterdam, including some just at the Amsterdam Centraal Station:

From Amsterdam Centraal Station, you can catch many of the city’s trams and buses to your accommodations. We recommend the The NS (Nederlandse Spoorwegen) App, available for iOS and Android as a guide.

Food & Drinks
Can I drink alcohol? And what about smoking?
The legal drinking age in The Netherlands is 18. (We will ask for ID at the door.)
You’re not allowed to smoke inside the venue. Marijuana is not legal, but tolerated in outside areas. Foreign visitors can visit coffee shops in Amsterdam, but you must be over 18 and show valid ID. (Sales of large quantities of cannabis to coffee shop customers is prohibited.)
What drinks do you have on offer?
There is a variety of warm drinks (coffees and teas) and softdrinks (colas, juices, sparkling water, etc.) as well as alcohol and alcohol free drinks.
The first day of the festival is the NDSM Café premiere of the “official beer” of Echoes from the Dungeon Fest, which will be available on tap. This is a gluten free IPA called Hit Parade (5.5%) by Swedish craft brewers that ended up in The Netherlands over 10 years ago, Butcher’s Tears (https://butchers-tears.com/).
There is also a host of other beers to enjoy from local breweries such as WALHALLA and Brouwerij ‘t Ij, plus Duvel, La Chouffe and Grölsch, as well as wines, liquors and spirits.
What food do you have on offer?
Apart from Bapao’s (steamed buns, either vegetarian or with chicken or beef) and a soup of the day, the NDSM Café is not considered a restaurant.
However, we are working on a few ‘takeaway’ options at the Noorderlicht Café (less than 2 minute walk from the venue) which will make it possible to grab something in between shows. We will have more information about this soon!
There are also a few restaurants nearby, such as Restaurant Brooklyn, Cannibale Royale, Pllek and Ijver, all of which are all just a few minutes walk from the venue, but note that these are not sensible options for getting something quick between artists. The closest, most cost effective option (apart from Noorderlicht Café) we suggest Ij-Kantine, but it is also not a take-away option:
Ij-Kantine (about a 5 minute walk to the venue)
NDSM-kade 5
1033 PG Amsterdam
T: 020 6337162
There is a major grocery store just a 5 minute walk away called Albert Heijn.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
You cannot bring your own drinks, but food is okay as long as you respect your fellow audience members with regards to odour. You can bring an empty water/cantine to be filled at the bar. (Amsterdam has excellent tap water.)
Other Questions
I want to make a press request to Echoes from the Dungeon Fest.
Please contact papaupaul.presents@gmail.com for press enquiries.
Can I be a volunteer at Echoes from the Dungeon Fest?
Yes! Echoes from the Dungeon Fest is a DIY event, but we can’t do it all ourselves. We’re looking for a few NL-based folks who are willing to help on both festival days: 28-February and 1-March.
All of these roles have view of the stage, either full or partial:
- door person (checking tickets and IDs, putting on/checking wristbands)
- merchandise stand assistance (to help relieve the artists when they can’t be there)
- general ‘stagehands’ (no experience necessary, help bringing equipment on/off stage, artist liaison, etc.)
- general ‘floor help’ (help with various tasks as they arise)
For your efforts, we will provide meals on both nights and drink tokens.
Please contact us via papaupaul.presents@gmail.com
I can’t make it, but still want to support the event and artists.

Here’s how to donate:
